Far Cotton/Cotton End
Far Cotton was originally a separate village, of which very little now remains because of the industrialisation and associated development associated with the arrival of the railway south of the Nene. The area contains St Mary’s church of 1885, designed by Mathew Holding, who was responsible for a number of Churches in the town as well as the original Guildhall extension.
