Barrack Road Conservation Area

The Barrack Road Conservation Area includes a fine selection of large Victorian and Georgian terraces, once home to the great and the good of the town. The name derives from the Gibraltar Garrison and the presence of many Irish troops may explain the existence of the Roman Catholic Cathedral..
